Private Music Instruction
One-on-one, unique and individually constructed plans for mastery of your musicality.
Lesson Information:
•Instruction available for: piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, saxophone, melodica, music theory, composition, improvisation, and basic sound engineering, recording and production.
•Lessons are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, for half an hour to an hour depending on needs and experience.
•Same-day cancellations will forfeit lesson deposit unless rescheduling is possible.
•Location: Downtown Vineyard Haven studio at 16 Union Court unit B, also on Zoom and potentially home visits.
•Rate: $90/hour. Venmo and PayPal accepted.

Teaching Philosophy:

With a long background in Suzuki instruction, ear-training is heavily emphasized. Instead of using a one-size-fits-all curriculum, lesson material, instruction method, and performance goals are customized for the student based on their needs. The ultimate priority is to engender and perpetuate enthusiasm for musical involvement on whatever level the student wishes to engage, and prepare students to take charge of their own learning as well.
